Stephen Winterbottom brings over two decades of extensive experience in the asbestos removal and insulation industry to his role as Director of Asbestos Go Limited. Starting his career as an operative in 1998 with Northern Insulation Contractors, Stephen quickly demonstrated his dedication and skill, earning a promotion to Supervisor in 2001. His hands-on experience in managing projects and teams laid the foundation for his expertise in the industry.
Progressive Experience
In 2009, Stephen joined Insul-Eight, where he continued to work as a supervisor, maintaining his reputation for excellence and precision in asbestos removal and insulation projects. His consistent performance and leadership earned him a promotion in 2017 to the role of Contracts Manager/Health and Safety Manager. In this capacity, Stephen was responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of service quality.

Stephen’s commitment to health and safety is underscored by his NEBOSH certificate in general health and safety, which has elevated him to TECH IOSH status, reflecting his strong knowledge and capabilities in ensuring workplace safety.
In July 2020, Stephen took on the role of Director at Insul-Eight, where he guided the company through a period of growth and innovation. His leadership, combined with his operational experience and health and safety expertise, made him a key figure in the company.
Now, as Director of Asbestos Go Limited, Stephen continues his journey of leadership and excellence. His vast experience, industry knowledge, and unwavering commitment to safety make him an invaluable asset to the company as it continues to provide high-quality asbestos removal and management services across the region.
